Our Services
Welcome to Long View State Park. We offer a range of services and ways for you to spend your time in our park. With a list of cabins and campsites to choose from or activities to partake in such as fishing or traversing the several trails we have for you to explore, you won’t want to leave. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Camping
Traditional Camp Grounds
For a more independent and secluded stay in line with traditional camping, we have a handful of campgrounds for personal set up. Each campsite is a clearing with one to two picnic benches, a fire pit, and charging station. Campsites are spread throughout the night-safe section of the park with bathrooms and showers located within walking distance. Despite their location, we advice not venturing out of your assigned camp site past 2 am unless absolutely necessary. At check in, we will provide you with a park issued walkie talkie in order to easily reach your closest ranger.

Fishing and Water Amenities
Although fishing is permitted, we ask that you release your daily catches after hooked in order to preserve our delicate ecosystem. Those who are found to have not released a creature will be d̴e̸a̶l̵t̷ ̸w̸i̶t̶h̷. In order to comply with state and federal law, all guests wishing to fish in our waters must first provide a valid fishing license. These can be obtained through local tackle shops or provided by our rangers. Fishing equipment, canoes, and kayaks are available to rent in our ranger office. Bait is also available for purchase.

Walking Path and Hiking Trails
Long View State Park has several walking paths and hiking trails with varying difficulty levels. Each trail is marked with one of the four trail markers seen below. Trails marked with the grey icon are the easiest with flat pathed terrain while orange are the most difficult and dangerous to traverse. We advice our guests to stick to the grey and green paths if possible.
